Stonechat is growing and evolving. We are pleased to share some of the exciting changes and developments that have been driven by our commitment to our ambition for the network:

“To inspire, connect, educate and equip a community of Africa’s top business leaders. To empower them to achieve success, growth & profit in their businesses, and fulfilment in their lives.”

The following philosophies have further informed how we intend to achieve this ambition, and thus paved the way for the changes we have made, and the further evolution ahead.

1. We believe that a shared context and a shared language binds all those who are alumni of the 1000 Day CEO, and now Acumen for Business Leaders, journey. This bind is what makes every alumni a Stonechat member.
2. We believe that members should have the freedom to participate in the initiatives they want without paying for the ones they don’t, and we want to enable busy or remote members to participate on a case-by-case basis
3. We believe the relevance of the learning survives longer than the one year journey it takes to become an alumni, and that members should be empowered wherever possible to continue to leverage this thinking in perpetuity, to refresh their knowledge where required, and keep applying these philosophies & logics in life and business.
4. We believe that the characteristics of the network of leaders who are a part of Stonechat are consistent with the nature of the African Stonechat, and that our brand should be a symbol for this.
